Our History
Barton Lane Practice has a proud a history of commitment to our community and continuity of care to our patients. And when we say continuity we mean it! Our practice has been locally owned and operated by local GPs since 1892, making it one of the longest serving practices in Australia. We haven’t always been on Barton Lane, with earlier years on the corner of White Street and Peel Street, then moving to Marius Street, before moving where we are now in the Tamwell building.
